The first true interest and the first true opening of the ex-garden center Fumagalli have their origin from the meeting among Controprogetto, the represented of the city committees of street Algarotti and of the "Mille" and some environmental associations. Common and shared idea is that the park must be returns to the citizens and open to the public. After a phase of knowledge on the project Garibaldi-Repubblica and after having reconstructed the legal situation of the park, its history, a first inspection and a census of the trees it has been effected. Renamed "Bosco di Gioia", actually the ex-garden center Fumagalli is currently an abandoned patrimony: an area that is already of fact a park and that it could be enjoyable from the population with some simple interventions dam it is held. Besides its trees, some of which more centenary, all dejected ones will come. To promote this vision Controprogetto has proposed to organize an event inside the area to finally show it to the district. The preparation has lasted around one month during which the participants to the meeting have communicated the opening of the park through their inside channels and the press. For the event Controprogetto has operated on different ways:
_Ideation of the graphics for the poster that have been exposed in the park during the initiative.
_Elaboration of the texts of information about Garibaldi Rrepubblica project.
_ Realization, Press and diffusion of fliers and manifestos.
_ Planning and realization of a set of benches for the park built in the laboratory of carpentry.
_ Recovery and restauration of chairs and tables used that they have gone to add him to the panorama of the wood.
_ Recovery, in collaboration with Legambiente, of materials for the retraining of the ground the place during the opening.
_ Realization with scrap materials of the embellishment and illumination of some areas of the park.
_ The event is initiated in the first afternoon to finish to late evening. After a first phase of preparation a period of active share of the visitors is followed to the retraining of the ground with shovels and hoes. During the afternoon they have been picked signatures against the project from the committee of street Algarotti. To evening a concert is followed in the center of the park. During all through the initiative Controprogetto has also managed a point of comfort-cafe whose enters have been devoted expenses to a (partial) reimbursement. Today the situation of the Bosco di Gioia is well-known. Unfortunately even the event of sensitization realized in collaboration with Elio e le storie tese, Zelig and Claudio Bisio and thanks above all to the stubbornness of Paolo Macchi of the committee of street Algarotti and of Rocco Tanica, that they had they fast for days for protest in a camper in front of the center of the region of street Pola they have served to save the trees.
